Puppy Food- DryThe Flint River Ranch Puppy/Adult is the best puppy food on the market. It is easy to eat and quickly digests into the puppy's system. Some feel that a growing puppy should have more fat and protein; however, recent studies support our belief that too much protein can cause problems with their future growth. Water can be mixed with the kibble for young puppies.
Feeding
Up to about one year - you can usually feed a young puppy what they want to eat. Keep plenty of water available. Monitor their weight as they grow and reduce the amount fed, as necessary.
Soft Stool
All-natural, premium food is very rich and has little in useless fillers. If the puppy has a loose stool, or tends to eat grass or dirt - cooked rice or vegetables can be added to the food until the puppy's system adjusts.
It is better to introduce super premium foods by mixing with your dogs usual food and increasing the amount of Flint River Ranch food over several days. It will take time for your dog to adjust to the super premium quality. A sudden change in any food source may be a shock to your dogs digestive system.
